Hey guys and girls,

This is yet another thank you/follower appreciation post!

2012 was a huge year for The Math Rock Blog and it’s all thanks to the people who keep coming back day after day, week after week, checking out the content that we put up here on the website and getting involved in our community.

Early this year, we launched a Facebook page that is steadily progressing, helping us expand our follow count. Cross-platform social media creates interactions and helps get the word out and helps us build a better community! Ah, the world we live in today… So what’s next? A Twitter? A Math Rock Instagram? Hmm, probably not just yet.

As you’ve seen this year, I’ve interviewed bands such as Tera Melos, Native and This Town Needs Guns which have been met with great response and we’re lucky to be backed by the wonderful Sargent House who are always there to help us get the word out about our latest interviews with their superb bunch of musicians.

We’re going to be continuing our interviews and video features through 2013 and beyond with bands such as Suffer Like G Did, Glass Mazes, Sinatra, The Reptilian and many more! Hopefully this will be a monthly thing. 

This year we made friends with our brother’s in Musical Mathematics, Zine & Not Heard and also Zine About That! Check them out as they are all a part of this great community and deserve the support.

So, this post comes to a close, as does the year. What have we got to look forward to just after the new year?

Well, first thing is first: The This Town Needs Guns album launch party hosted by our friends in London at HOU PROJECTS. It’s going to be a great night, so make sure you come on down if you’re in the area! Tickets are only £3 adv!

Our community now has over 1,300 people in it across our platforms! That’s a huge number of people to us and we appreciate all of you who have clicked like or follow and we really appreciate it when people tell others about the blog.

Tera Melos will be releasing new tracks and things in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

And we might get some stickers made or something.
